Birth is such an incredible feat, and yet it happens every day. Women are AMAZING. The birthing journey requires so much of us. But most of all, it requires us to surrender and to find strength from deep within.

I think birth should be celebrated. I think that these stories that should be celebrated. They should be told and told and told again.

Documenting these stories is a way to help bring them forward, and to normalize birth, so that they can be shared and embraced and remembered. And so that other women can draw strength from them into their own birthing experience.

These moments are raw and real. These are true moments of strength and love and life.

Birth Photography is a passion of mine. Documenting the raw beauty and intensity of labour and birth is such a privilege. Those first fresh moments with babe in arms are precious beyond comprehension. These moments of strength, love and support are incredibly powerful, and I would be honoured to be invited into your birth space to document your journey.

I am available and on call from 38 through 42 weeks and attend both hospital and home births. I will generally remain up to two hours after birth to capture those first beautiful bonding moments.
